Kate Middleton : la reine Elizabeth II lui cède un rôle important !

Le palais de Kensington vient d’annoncer que Kate Middleton reprend les rênes d’une association, dirigée depuis 67 ans par la reine Elizabeth II. Elle assurera désormais le rôle de présidente de la Royal Photographic Society. Il s’agit d’une association fondée en 1953 pour “promouvoir l’Art et la Science de la photographie”.
“Sa Majesté la Reine est devenue patronne de la Royal Photographic Society, l’une des plus anciennes sociétés photographiques du monde, en 1952. (…) La duchesse de Cambridge s’intéresse depuis longtemps à la photographie et ce parrainage mettra en lumière l’impact positif que l’art et la créativité peuvent avoir sur le bien-être émotionnel, en particulier pour les enfants et les jeunes.”
Kate Middleton s’est alors rendue à la Royal Photographic Society à Londres et a suivi un atelier de photographie en partenariat avec l’association “Action for Children”, entourée de plusieurs enfants. Cela consistait à en apprendre davantage sur la façon dont ces compétences en photographie peuvent aider les jeunes à développer leur confiance en eux et leur expression personnelle.

Her Majesty The Queen became Patron of the Royal Photographic Society, one of the world's oldest photographic societies, in 1952. Today The Queen has passed the patronage of the Royal Photographic Society to The Duchess of Cambridge, ahead of The Duchess’s visit to a photography workshop run by The Royal Photographic Society and Action for Children, another of The Duchess’s patronages. The Royal Photographic Society was founded in 1853 with the objective of promoting the art and science of photography, and in the same year received Royal patronage from Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The Duchess of Cambridge has a longstanding interest in photography, and this patronage will further highlight the beneficial impact that art and creativity can have on emotional wellbeing, particularly for children and young people.
